Chris Scott
Executive Chair & Chief Executive Officer
Chris has had an extensive career in the health sector in senior management with over 25 years at the chief executive officer level, in addition to several commercial enterprises. Along with his significant academic record, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience in corporate governance having served as a board director with more than 40 combine years of experience. He’s held numerous director roles as chair, committee chair for finance & audit, risk, quality, and operations. Chris has also had a lengthy career in community service being a Life Member of the Association of Apex Clubs and former Rotarian among many of his other positions and roles with community organisation and not-for-profit charities.
Chris has a passion for corporate governance, the health sector, and helping people in need.
Eve Williamson
Board Director & Founder of Cansurvive Research Association
Eve has spent a considerable period of her life, 26 years, living in the far East, namely Hong Kong and Malaysia. She has travelled and studied various aspects of holistic healing, visited various overseas cancer clinics, and healing centres gathering knowledge and support for the Australian based CanSurvive group.
Eve continue to add vibrancy and wisdom to her mantra for CanSurvive:” A window of light into the world of healing for those challenged with cancer”. She has a wealth of knowledge, experience, and connections both Nationally and Internationally on non-invasive holistic cancer therapies and support.
She firmly believes in extending the gossamer web of support, information and knowledge through the opening of future groups throughout Australia.
John Plummer
Board Director & Association Secretary
An engineer by trade John has considerable expertise and experience in the business sector provisioning for the renewable energy sector. He brings a wealth of knowledge in business development and oversight and has a firsthand understanding of the needs of people challenge by cancer. John’s business acumen, project management skills, and strengths on systems and processes adds a valuable component to the leadership team at CanSurvive.

Her background was in senior leadership roles in Human Resources and Construction in the Retail and Healthcare Industries.
Charlize Mackie
Administration Support – Research
Charlize is a volunteer Administration Support – Researcher focusing on the Psychology of cancer support frameworks. She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Psychological Science [Honors] from Bond University [2024] with her Honors Thesis: The Minds Soundtrack: Exploring the Nexus of Mood, Music, and Neural Oscillations. She is now embarking on her Masters of Clinical Psychology before undertaking her PhD.
