Parasites and Cancer: What Does the Research Tell Us?
The relationship between parasites and cancer is complex. Researchers have identified links between some parasitic infections and specific cancers. They continue to investigate other possible relationships.
This does not mean parasites cause all cancers. It also does not mean every theory has strong clinical evidence behind it. Cancer is a complex group of diseases with many contributing factors.
During this Healing Hub session, Chris Scott will examine some of the research and questions surrounding parasites and cancer. He will focus on what we know, what remains uncertain and where researchers may need to investigate further.
