CanSurvive Support Group meets on Wednesday 17 December at 12:00pm at the CanSurvive Healing Hub, T1.303, 55 Plaza Parade, Maroochydore QLD 4558. This in-person cancer support group is led by our founder, Eve Williamson, and offers a gentle, understanding space for people affected by cancer.
Who is the CanSurvive Support Group for?
This support group is for anyone impacted by cancer – whether you are newly diagnosed, in active treatment, in remission or supporting a loved one as a carer. In this cancer support group, you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Simply sitting with others who “get it” is absolutely okay.
What happens in this cancer support group?
During the session, Eve will gently guide the conversation so everyone has the opportunity to speak if they wish. The group aims to reduce feelings of isolation and build a sense of community, hope and connection. There is also space for quiet reflection, questions and a cuppa, so the atmosphere stays relaxed and supportive.
This in-person support group follows our morning Healing Hub presentation. You are welcome to stay on after the talk or arrive just for the group at 12:00pm.
