Dr Bill McGraw, naturopathic practitioner and complementary health educator

CanSurvive’s Town-Hall Forum 2026 Series continues this August with a session exploring diet and transfer factors as approaches to supporting cancer wellness. Dr Bill McGraw returns as presenter, and as always, this free online event is open to everyone affected by cancer. CanSurvive Malaysia hosts the series in partnership with CanSurvive Australia.

Diet and Transfer Factors: Exploring Complementary Approaches to Cancer Wellness

For people living with cancer and their families, questions about nutrition and complementary wellness approaches arise frequently during and after treatment. This month’s Town-Hall Forum explores how diet and transfer factors may support wellbeing as part of a holistic approach to cancer care. Importantly, this session complements rather than replaces conventional medical care.

Why This Topic Matters

Nutrition is a cornerstone of cancer wellness for many people. Research consistently shows that diet can influence energy levels, immune function, and overall quality of life during and after cancer treatment. This session offers an opportunity to explore one practitioner’s perspective on how dietary choices and specific nutritional approaches may support the body through a cancer experience.

About the Town-Hall Forum Series

CanSurvive Malaysia runs the Town-Hall Forum 2026 Series as a free monthly Zoom event in partnership with CanSurvive Australia. Each month, the series explores a different topic through the lens of complementary and integrative approaches to cancer support. Previous sessions have covered advanced Stage 4 cancers, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and lymphatic cancers, among other topics.

Above all, the series is educational in nature. It intends to complement — not replace — conventional medical care, and all participants should continue following the guidance of their treating medical team.

About Dr Bill McGraw

He brings a complementary health perspective to each session and explores nutritional and integrative approaches to supporting wellbeing alongside conventional cancer treatment.
