Living with cancer can bring challenges, questions and experiences that aren’t always easy to share with others. However, connecting with people who understand can make a meaningful difference.

CanSurvive Australia invites people affected by cancer, including survivors, carers, family members and friends, to join our November cancer support groups on the Sunshine Coast.

Our gatherings provide a welcoming and understanding environment where everyone can connect, share experiences and find encouragement.

What to Expect at Our Cancer Support Groups

Our cancer support groups on the Sunshine Coast provide an opportunity to meet others who understand some of the challenges associated with cancer.

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, living beyond cancer or supporting someone you care about, you’re welcome to attend.

There is no pressure to speak or share personal experiences. You can participate in conversations, listen to others or simply enjoy being part of a supportive community.

Why Community Connection Matters

Every person’s cancer experience is different. However, having opportunities to connect with others can help people feel less isolated.

At CanSurvive Australia, we believe emotional wellbeing, access to information and community connection are important parts of whole-person cancer support.

Our Support Groups offer a space for understanding, conversation and meaningful connections.
